We’re #1… and #35, hehehe
I did a Google search for ‘Hyundai Getz’ today on Google.com and Google.com.ph, and there’s a smile on my face as wide as my Gina’s bumpers, because we’re ranking well.*grin*
Hyundai Getz Philippines: Life With Gina is #1 on Google.com.ph for ‘Hyundai Getz’ and related searches, including ‘Hyundai Getz Philippines’ and ‘Philippine Hyundai Getz.’ On Google.com, it’s #35, fifth on Page 3, and well behind at least three other Philippine Hyundai Getz websites (the Getz Club, on whom I am a member, the Hyundai Getz Philippines official website, and autosearchphilippines (yeah, a portal! I KNOW!).
What does Life With Gina offer you? You get exactly what you’d be writing if you owned a Hyundai Getz yourself. I don’t know squat about cars, and if you’re in the same boat, it’s nice knowing you’re going through something that someone else is going through. I tell you exactly what happens, what I pay for, what things happen to me and my Getz, good or bad. If I like a service, I’ll tell you. If I hate it, I’ll tell you. No one has ever paid for a positive referral or review on this website, I can assure you that, 100%.
If you’d like to help Life With Gina rise up the rankings of Google.com and bring this kind of candid information to a greater number of people worldwide who are looking for information about the Hyundai Getz, please place a link to this website, http://hyundaigetz.gannsdeen.com, on your website, and link it with the words, ‘Hyundai Getz.’ Or copy this below and paste it into your HTML code:

(I’d make buttons, but maybe some other time.)
Thanks for all your support, and keep on swinging by Life With Gina for more updates on the joys (and pains) of owning a Hyundai Getz!

Bravo! Congratulations! i bet that Gina’s pretty happy about that too.
Oh, guess what… I just found out that my auto loan got approved. =D i’ll finally get a black getz. oh, and when i do, i’ll have the headlights smoked, just like what you had done on Gina. you’re right, it does give a fiercer look.
God bless!
Woohoo! Congratulations, RL! Be sure to send me a photo!
Hey, great site. Yes you are number one as I google about the getz. Am ditching my civic for this 1.1 liter beauty (did my basic spark vs getz research and have made my decision) and would really appreciate you inputs as am about to apply for my car loan:
-best hyundai dealer?
-any other tips on buying a getz?
Thanks, would appreciate your reply via your blog or straight to my email.
best / eBoy
Hi eBoy! Thank you for swinging by Life With Gina, and for your kind words. I can’t give you enough information on the Getz because there’s already a wealth of information available, but I’ll try to give a brief but meaningful answer for your questions.
Regarding Hyundai dealers, I purchased Gina from Wheels Inc along E. Rodriguez Avenue in Quezon City. The sales executive who assisted me was Jason Chung (you may reach him at 0917-3584384). Jason is very accommodating, and he gave me freebies that I really enjoyed. (Wheels Inc. kinda screwed up when I checked Gina out - you can read about it on my blog - but other than that hiccup, it went well.) When I bought Gina, there was an ongoing promo, and I’m not sure if it is still in effect. One of the more important things I’d recommend you consider, aside from car specs itself, is the location of the dealership, You may end up having to visit the dealership regularly while you wait for your license plate (they’ll issue you a government permit weekly), so select a dealer that isn’t too inaccessible from your place. In the course of living my life with Gina, I’ve also dealt with Hyundai Fort Bonifacio (Global City), whose praises I obviously regularly sing. I don’t know what their sales service is like, but their after-sales service is very satisfactory. You can also try contacting Ding Pionso of Hyundai Pasig (0919-8852831), from whom I haven’t bought a car but for whom I can vouch for personal integrity. Ding’s been a friend of mine for years, and I know he’ll treat you well.
Gina is a 1.1L Getz, and I’m getting anywhere between 11-12km/L, which is well below the promised advertisements of Hyundai but respectable for city driving. (My friends tell me their Toyotas and Civics deliver them 9-10km/L city driving, which isn’t too bad considering their engines are 1.3 and above, but in the long run, you’ll still save more, especially with the ridiculous prices of gas nowadays.) If you can afford a 1.4 Getz, I would recommend you consider that, as fuel economy and the 1.4’s engine handle the weight of the Getz chassis better and deliver you even better economy; if you cannot, the 1.1 will serve you just fine.
If you’ve any other questions, please don’t hesitate to email or chat me up through Yahoo Messenger or GTalk. I am definitely no expert, but I share whatever I learn about my Getz on my blog, so I’ll be happy to share my own experiences with you.
