As Good As It Getz.

Hyundai Getz owners, rejoice! Gasoline prices are down!

My Hyundai Getz Gina noticed gas prices went down two days ago. 93+ octane gasoline is now retailing for PHP57.07 at our neighborhood Petron. Rush, Hyundai Getz owners, rush, before they jack it up again! That’s PHP3 lower than the peak of PHP60.04 about a month ago, methinks.

(Had dinner with someone who works in one of the Big 3 companies. Rumor has it, this person says, na bababa pa ng PHP1 yan next week. Waw. Praise God, ano?)

Update (Aug 25): Did you see your gas stations? Gas prices are down another PHP1.00! Go get yourselves filled up while the prices are good!

It is not enough. They should roll back P5 atleast. Remember last month when they increase prices almost weekly at P1.50?

They were always complaining about the high prices of oil in the world market. Now, the price of oil in the world market went down considerably, we have to beg them to roll back and they gave us P1!

    That is plain GREED!!!

hi guys! I have sourced mirror cover with signal LED for our Getz. May chrome finish or walang paint para pang body color. Mga around 4 to 5 thousand per set. Not yet sure sa price. Text nyo ako sa 09228858513. Thanks!

    Sir Ganns,

i10 is coming this month which is, arguably, better than getz. Do you think this will affect the sale of getz in the country? Or you dont believe that i10 is better than getz all together? :)

    Thanks.

Lalabas na po, Tito Boy? Wow, that’s exciting!

I hope it’ll be better. The jury is out on the reviews. Sana Hyundai will give me a test drive for the website. Hahaha.

Syempre, we hope it’ll be better. The new Picanto is probably outselling us right now - thanks to its cute headlights, mostly, haha - and a new model to come in, even repackaged as i10, should be pretty good.

For the record, though, I hate the name.

Yap sir Ganns, this month at PhP498,000.00! A very reasonable price.

I think getz at PhP488,000.00 still outsell picanto at P544,000.00. The price gap is huge. I see more getz in the street as compared to picanto. Getz has a more durable body compared to picanto IMO.

I think that Hyundai’s improvement in I10’s engine counts a lot. Especially the 1.1 CRDI engine. How I wished that they had this under our Getz hood when I bought my car! I still love Getz, its more spacious than the I10. I’m not sure if it’s classified as mini compact. For sure, Getz is a sub compact.

Somewhere near the neighborhood of PHP2,000, I think.

Gas is cheaper now, thank God. e10’s about PHP52.97 a liter.
