As Good As It Getz.

I spy with my i… the i10!

My Hyundai Getz, Gina, and I drove by Wheels Inc along E. Rodriguez yesterday and we saw the new Hyundai i10. Methinks Gina felt a pang of jealousy; I had to reassure her that she was my car, and always will be (at least until the bank payments are through, haha).

Have you seen the Hyundai i10? It’s quite a piece of work. Wonder if the airbags’ll be standard. I doubt it.

    Hello!

I’m also a getz owner. I also got to see an i-10 this weekend. It’s pretty sweet but I still love my Getz..hehehe..If Gina felt a pang of jealousy when you took a peek at the i-10 then don’t let her catch you checking out the i-30 which is coming out soon as well. The i-30 is a real looker!

I’m sure it is, Gio! Magkano kaya siya?

I’m not digging the whole i-series, but that’s just me. Who does Hyundai think it is, Mercedes Benz?

As per a thread in Hyundai Auto club Philippines the CRDI i-30 costs 1 million plus and the manual petrol version at 900k plus. ugh! So much for my dream to own one.hehe!

wow that pricing is way off! parang mazda3 na yan ha. alam ko with hyundais new nomenclature, i30 replaces getz while i10 the atoz (or at the most, the 1.1 hyundai). i10 sure looks a lot smaller than our getz or even picanto for that matter.

let me correct myself. it’s the i20 thats replacing the getz ;D (instead, elantra is to i30) cant get much info on it yet since it’s yet to be unveiled in dec pa…malamang locally 1st-2nd qtr 2009 pa

i10 looks smaller but if we will compare the dimension of both cars, i10 is taller and wider than getz.

i just got my i10 and its really fun to drive just like my sisters getz, I agree with tito dimension wise the i10 is taller and wider. But when you see the i10 and getz side by side the getz seems bigger. Im really glad I decided to get the i10 really a good bang for the buck.

hi guys. hyundai i10 A/T has only 1.1 engine compared to my getz matic with 1.4 engine…i think i still got the right choice( hehe sour grapes)….any comment? can anybody compare the two? (which is which….the best?)……LOL! Just got my unit 3 months ago(1.4 a/t). I should have waited for the new model(i10 a/t) huhuhu….

getz is a good buy. manny has one so there is no problem in finding solutions to your problems. i10 is new and untested, although considering the hyundai’s success on getz, there wont be any problem. however, few owners of i10 have complaints, check this out:

I was informed that Hyundai cars had price increases about 2 weeks ago. But before that, I compared pricing as Getz 1.1 - P488K, I10 1.1 - P498K (Getz better priced by P10K) Anyone knows what prices are right now?

I chanced on an I10 2 weeks ago driving from Los Banos. I10 was ahead of my Getz by about 50 meters and I wanted a closer look. I was running around 60 kph and I tried to catch up… i guess I10 sensed that I was trying to observe to closely (masyadong tutok yata ako)… he accelerated quickly (to my surprise) and i found that my Getz couldnt catch up in the initial accelaration… but was able to catch up eventually sa rektahan na lang…
