I surrendered to the temptation
My Philippine Hyundai Getz, Gina, is now running on E10 fuel. I couldn’t wait any longer for Hyundai Asia Resources Inc to get back to me, so I loaded her up this morning at the Shell Magallanes station for around PHP53.07 a liter. Let’s see how Gina does.
Update: It was cheaper at several other Shell stations. Best price I saw was PHP52.87 at a Shell station along Nagtahan. Darn it.

Hi there Ganns,
It’s exciting to know that you tried it out. I think a lot of car owners are hesitant to try E10 because of theere are a lot of questions about it that are unanswered. Thanks for volunteering to be a test subject..hehehehe..Hope your experiment fares well brave soul! We’ll be waiting for the results =)
Sir Ganns, i think e10 will be ok for Gina.
I just tuned up my car yesterday and according to my trusted mekaniko, Mang Conrad, e10 will do for my old horse.
In fact some curburator engine worked fine with e10 according to him. How much more with direct inject engines?
Hope his right heheh..
Hi Gio & Tito Boy,
Thanks for the encouragement. I promise a daily journal for the next seven days to let y’all know how it goes. Swing by regularly, k?
