Shell e10 Day 2
My Hyundai Getz seems to be reacting well with Shell e10. No untoward incidents just yet. I’ve a little over 100kms with this bioethanol fuel.
I wonder if creating a cocktail of e10 with regular fuel has any adverse effects on Philippine Hyundai Getz units.

I don’t think there should be any problem with mixing e-10 with regular gas but I think that would defeat the purpose though as e-10 supposedly is a cleaner type of fuel. I read that the new i-series from hyundai is compatible with e-10 but I haven’t rezad anything about e-10 being compatible with the Getz. Still, I don’t think there should be any ill effects.
The manual of the Getz says it’s compatible, but I wanted some confirmation from HARI in a well-documented case of customer-ignored-by-organization.
There have been some comments about e10 being less powerful than regular fuel, resulting in slower acceleration. Mixing the two gases together may produce a relatively eco-friendly result while producing more power, but that’s tested only in theory. Ergo, the rhetorical question.
