Time for a Philippine Hyundai i10 review!
Guess what? My mom didn’t know what she was talking about! The car she bought was a Hyundai i10! After I made it laet pa naman! LOL
I’ll ask her permission to drive it and you’ll get a Hyundai i10 review within the week. *grin*

Just test drove the i-10 last week. Very smooth ride bro and. Nice shifter since nasa extension ng dashboard. Very short throws kaya easy shifting. Very nice interior and roomy for a car smaller than the Getz. Laki pa ng mga side mirror kaya kita mo talaga ang surroundings mo. Pero if you think the i-10 is nice you better check out the i-20. Grabe ang ganda!!!! May nag post ng latest pics sa hyundai auto club site. lupit talaga!

Thanks for the comment. I drove my Mom’s i10 last night - automatic, shemps - and was underwhelmed.
High points were good height from the ground, good stereo (iPod port!), good brake response, and steady suspension. You’re right, it’s a smooth ride. Side mirrors ok, passenger sun visor has a cute vanity mirror, k lang.
I couldn’t get past the space issue. The i10 is so cramped compared to the Getz. Even if the car itself has higher room, it loses points with its leg room. Ang liit ng trunk compared to the Getz, kahit may mga compartments sa ilalim, hindi naman kailangan.
Ito yung masaklap: my mom nudged another car last week. Little impact daw, sabi nya, nudged nga. Tumuklap yung hood! Yikes, I’m afraid for the safety features. Plus, ang manual may airbag, ang automatic, wala?
The Hyundai Getz is so much better, IMHO. Pero i20, may pag-asa yan! I should take a look at it.

I’m a visitor in your interesting Forum.. I’m from very far away, Nicaragua, and I’m a Getz owner.
I can tell you that I’ve bin in the net and this is the most complete and interesting Getz forum, I’ve bin reading it 2 months ago…
I have friends that own i10s and they are very happy with the cars FE. They tell me that with a full tank they can travel 400 KM in the city (35 litter tank). i10 is more fuel efficient. Of course, I know that it is a smaller car and motor to, it is lighter than the Getz model.. Etc… That is why it has better FE. But, personally, and in my opinion.. y stick with the Getz Model by far… Getz transmit the sensation that you are driving a bigger car…… I like it..
I have a question related to Getz ¿is the Getz going to be replaced with another model?
I want to anticipate and thank you for letting me participate Life With Gina site with you guys..

Walang airbag ang matic? Hmm..that’s really strange. May price increase daw ang i-10 and the reason daw for the increase in price was a passenger side airbag so based on that premise I thought na may airbag ang bot m/t and a/t na i-10.
Sad to hear about what happened to your mom’s i-10. Hopefully it’s just one of those “can’t explain” events kung bakit natiklop o natukap yung hood instead of a quality issue.

I also had a chance to sat inside the I10 a week after official release. The feautures are awesome! Not bad for a mini-compact priced below 500K. It only lacked the mag wheels. But IMHO, the car is made for typical Filipino. I mean the cabin just fits to our Kababayans! I think only a child can sit behind the driver seat if I tried to adjust it backwards. I still love my Getz. And I will love it even more if they have put the I10’s feautures into it!
I20? Hmmmmnn, lets see the price first. I would say I10 really made it, its worth the value or could be even more. But together with its release, the big brother I30 have received the rightful OVERPRICED CAR criticisms. If I20 will follow this HARI’s I30 strategy, HYUNDAI may slow down if not loose the sub-compact sales…………..

I heard that Hyundai Philippines is still waiting for the I-10’s STOCK REPORTS from Korea. That’s why the I-10s still dont have license plates from LTO…. would anyone know if this is true?
All I-10s i’ve seen so far still dont have plate numbers…

I haven’t heard anything, and Lord knows HARI doesn’t give a flying rat’s ass about me. LOL
My mom’s i10 doesn’t have a plate pa.
