Redeem the Airwaves – fastest route?
I’m attending Redeem the Airwaves this Saturday at the Union Church in Makati. I wonder what the fastest route is for my Hyundai Getz to take to get there. I’m coming from Caloocan. EDSA to Ayala or Nagtahan-Manila-Makati? Plus, what happens if it rains?
Argh, the perils of a short car!

Do you have the same problem with your wipers? i noticed that mine is not wiping very much. Whenever it rains, turning on the wiper makes it worst, you cant see very far and the windshield looks like a high grade eyeglasses.
RainX + new wipers = happy driving.
@Razor, I started having the same problem with my Getz when I started having it washed at the nearest carwash. Fixed it by cleaning the wipers myself and applying rain-x on my windshield.
Rain-X rox my sox.
Pero maluwag na ang rubber ng wipers ko, so replacement may still be in order. Two years old na rin siya, so it’s about time.
Hi Ganns,
This is off topic though interesting…
I thought Getz has been phased out here in the Philippines since last year. I bought my Getz August of last year and I believe it’s of the last few units (thank God naka habol pa). I was surprised last Saturday when I saw a display unit of Getz in Cash and Carry Mall. I asked the sales rep re: about it, and she said that they are bringing back the famous Getz into the market. So I ask about i10. She said that they will not sell i10 until August 09. Hmmmm…. Has it something to do with the “Suzuki Celerio” which was also diplayed there just a car away priced at 528k. It looks better than the i10 and more loaded i guess (If I buy today, I might consider the Celerio, really cool!, Getz still the best). Are they bringing back our Getz to counter Celerio… What cha think Ganns???
Suzuki has cars? LOL j/k
Phasing out the Getz was a rather strange move on the part of HARI. It was a best-selling car, and you don’t just phase best-selling cars out on a whim, you improve them. (There are solid reasons why there are still Lancers, Civics, and Cities on the road.) Parang ambilis naman ng Hyundai na magsawa sa mga models nila.
Whether or not they’re countering Celerio, I really think the i10 wasn’t a good move, and I think the return of the Getz serves to underscore my belief.
